Motivational Communication Competency Assessment Test

Welcome to the MC-CAT platform

We are inviting you to take part in a research study. The aim of this project is to validate a new competency assessment tool compatible with a Motivational Communication approach, which can be used by healthcare professionals to better support lasting health behavioural changes in their patients with or at risk for chronic diseases.

Healthcare professionals and their patients will be approached for this study. Before you consent to participating, take the time to read, understand and reflect upon the following information. This information/consent form concerns physicians (cardiologists, respirologists, internists and family medicine physicians) and healthcare professionals (nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, etc.) working with patients suffering from chronic diseases.
